Menai Strait. Painted in 1942 whilst staying at Pendyffryn, Upper Bangor, North Wales.
The picture was given to his older sister Margaret Kentish and kept at Sheen Gate House and later at Hacket Forge, Ambleside. On the death of Dilys Orton it passed to Jill Cunningham (nee Orton) in Leicester. It came back into the Kentish family when Michael Kentish visited Jill at her request c. 2005
